Brief description

The DC series is an abrasion-resistant, chemically resistant, formable, two-component, double-curing screen printing ink.

 

Product Characteristics

DC is a two-component ink can be blister moulding, wear-resistant, chemical-resistant double curing varnish, printed on the PC surface as a protective layer, after curing the varnish layer can be through the automotive industry, a variety of skin care products, chemical testing and other conditions, the product is used in automotive interior parts, home appliances and other wide range of integration of the moulded components.

 

Ink Characteristics

1. Screen printing ink system that can be printed on PC material surface.

2. High-pressure blister moulding.

3. Excellent abrasion resistance and chemical resistance.

4. High-gloss, matte, metal effect can be selected.

 

Printing conditions

1.Before UV curing, keep DC colours away from light.

2. Avoid visible and ultraviolet light during the printing process as much as possible, and the finished product should also be placed away from light to prevent product samples from cracking during the moulding process.

3.Add curing agent into the ink and mix well, machine speed 2000 rpm for 1min.

4.The ink with hardener should be used for 6 hours at room temperature (25°).

 

Drying conditions

1.Finger touch drying: after the ink printing is finished, immediately enter the tunnel oven for baking, the tunnel temperature does not exceed 8 out of the product to reach finger touch drying can be.

2.Final drying: After the surface drying, the product is put on the shelf for final curing, temperature 85℃, 30min.

 

Moulding process

1. Before moulding, if the product has been left for more than 8 hours, it should be preheated and dried at 80℃ for 30min to prevent the subsequent moulding from generating air bubbles.

2.For PC material, the high pressure moulding temperature is between 170-185℃, the specific temperature should be adjusted according to the actual product.

 

Curing parameters

1. Suggested lamp source: mercury lamp UV 250 to 410nm.max.365nm

2. Curing energy: 1600 to 2000 mj/cm².

3. After curing, the product can be subsequently moulded and cut, injection moulded, etc.

 

Storage conditions

Unopened used time is 1 year, open ink is 6 months, need to be stored in dry, cool, ventilated (5-30 °) conditions.
